The Marco Roffo Memorial Foundation is committed to offering hope, connection, and support to those navigating the loss of a loved one. We are grateful to share several vital resources available to the Boston-area community:
Call2Talk Postvention Support Services
Call2Talk is a National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Crisis Center run by Mass211. It provides support for people in times of emotional crisis and suicidal ideation, and programs and resources for the suicide loss survivor community (PDF download).
If you are in crisis and/or considering suicide, dial 988 now to talk to someone who is ready to listen.
The postvention services Call2Talk offers to survivors include:
- Move4Ward Network Support Group – A space for connection, healing, and shared support. Visit the Move4Ward page to sign up for their weekly Zoom support sessions for women who have lost a spouse or partner to suicide. They also offer a monthly live support session in Framingham for all survivors age 18 and over, no registration required (PDF download).
- LOSSteam MetroWest – In partnership with Call2Talk and the Ashland Police Department, LOSSteam is a volunteer organization that provides immediate crisis support to suicide survivors. It’s support you never want to need, but we are so deeply thankful it exists. Learn more about their vital work.
